The girl child and young women who come to us, to our admiration, are to a large extend hard working, creative and ambitious, willing to work hard and learn. However, many are deprived of achieving their full potential because a girl child is not encouraged always by families to invites too much in her education. Unfortunately, the inequality in investment on a daughter’s education and that of a son’s still persists
When strive to enrich the lives of the young women who come to Rajat Girl’s College with the academic desired to pass their examination, and also surround them with learning opportunities that give them information and awareness; sensitizing them to learn things every women should know (what Indian mothers never tell their daughters- not tales but facts). Facts scientifically shared help them to be prepared for life that lies ahead of them. For achieving this awareness among our faculty and students we have programmers which are conducted through the following Centers :
CWSD : (The Centre for Women’s Studies and Development)
AACCET : (The Aids awareness centre for Counselling Education and Training ).
NICHE : ( The Nutritional Initiative for Communi’y Health & Education.
CEDBEC : (the Centre for Education beyond Curriculum). |
